Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Armstrong County, Texas. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose.
