Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Richland County, South Carolina. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Part-time with flexible hours.
