Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Hot Springs County, Wyoming. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
