Immediate opening: industrial sewing operator (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Beadle County, South Dakota. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
