Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Cumberland County, Virginia. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
