Join our team: HSE officer (Vermont)

Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in Essex County, Vermont. You will be based on a high-rise building project. The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
