Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
