Crane rigger wanted in Logan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Logan County, West Virginia. You will be based at a container port. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
