Now hiring: powder coater (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coater in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. You will be based at a powder coating unit. You will top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; degrease and clean metal parts before coating. What we are looking for: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process We offer £120 per day plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
