Urgent requirement: we are hiring a general labourer in Falkirk, Scotland. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel.
