Immediate opening: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Union County, South Carolina. The job is at a double glazing firm. What we are looking for: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes On the job you will handle: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades Six days a week, one day off. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
