Vacancy available: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Jackson County, West Virginia. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Requirements: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work The role involves: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
