Air conditioning service engineer • Centre County, Pennsylvania

Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Centre County, Pennsylvania. You will work in shopping malls and office buildings. Your main tasks: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
