Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Richland County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
