Great opportunity: coating plant operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Hamilton County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
