Bulldozer operator — Aleutians East Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. The job is at a road-building project. Day to day you will work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
