Trowel-trade bricklayer • Damaturu, Yobe State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Damaturu, Yobe State. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
