We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Muscatine County, Iowa. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
