HSE officer wanted in Calhoun County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Calhoun County, Texas. The role involves: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
