Formwork carpenter • Yazoo County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Yazoo County, Mississippi. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts You will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). 5+ years on the tools preferred.
