Milling machinist — Karnes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Karnes County, Texas. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
