Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
