Vacancy available: painter and decorator (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a factory paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Sand and fill walls before applying primer What we are looking for: • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Own brushes and basic hand tools At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
