Lift maintenance fitter — Carroll County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Carroll County, Iowa. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables 2+ years on the tools preferred.
