Packing line operative • Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a packing line operative in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a food packaging factory. What we are looking for: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing The role involves: • Separate rejects and re-pack faulty units • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Record production counts on the shift sheet • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams Full-time with occasional weekends.
