Earthmoving plant operator wanted in Dorchester County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Dorchester County, Maryland. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On a typical shift you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Share your details and we will call you back.
