Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Monmouthshire, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold The role involves charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £2,900 per month, based on your experience.
