Refrigeration and AC mechanic • Pinellas County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Pinellas County, Florida. You will work in an HVAC service company. The role involves: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Clean condenser and evaporator coils Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade 4+ years on the tools preferred.
