Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Washington County, Maryland. You will be based at an infrastructure site. The role involves cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Rotating shifts.
