UPVC window fabricator — Alpena County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Alpena County, Michigan. The role involves fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Full-time with occasional weekends.
