Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Harrison County, Mississippi. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
