Safety inspector • Ife East, Osun State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Ife East, Osun State. The job is at a busy construction site. You will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
