Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. The role involves: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Rotating shifts.
