Escalator technician — Port-Harcourt

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time, day shift.
