You should have: • Steady hands for soldering fine connections • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods Your main tasks: • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking • Replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches • Repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
