Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. The job is in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
