Tig welder wanted in Clackmannanshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters 2+ years on the tools preferred. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
