Immediate opening: precision welder (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Suwannee County, Florida. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience.
