Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Full-time with occasional weekends.
