Argon welder wanted in Lauderdale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Lauderdale County, Alabama. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Part-time with flexible hours.
