Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
