Join our team: vehicle spray painter (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a busy body shop. You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
