We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. On a typical shift you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
