We are recruiting: slinger signaller (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Ashe County, North Carolina. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness You will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
