Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Saguache County, Colorado. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
