Semi-automatic welder wanted in Carroll County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Carroll County, Missouri. You will be based on a structural steel site. You will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
