Crane rigger • Iberville Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a container port. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Six days a week, one day off.
