Vacancy available: lift installation engineer (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Sainte Genevieve County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
