Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Lincoln County, South Dakota. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
