Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
